ScopeOkay helps independent designers, developers, and other freelancers explain additional work, put a price on it, and record a client’s response.

How it works

1. Describe the original scope and the change.
2. Add a fee and any additional business days.
3. Print a PDF, copy a client message, or create an account to share a proposal link.

Shared proposals are fixed snapshots. Further edits require a new link. Disable an unanswered link from Shared proposals if you sent the wrong version.

Free and Plus

The local editor, client message, and browser printing are free. A confirmed account includes 3 client links. A $9 USD Plus purchase adds 100 links and removes ScopeOkay’s footer branding from newly shared proposals. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout. There is no subscription. You can buy another 100-link pack from Billing & links in your account menu. A refund removes that purchase’s link allowance; already used links are not restored.

Each published proposal uses one link, even if later disabled. Links are accessible for 30 days. Download a PDF to keep a copy. Client fees shown in proposals are not collected through ScopeOkay.

Projects, templates, and billing

Free accounts can keep one active project with an original scope, budget, and manually updated revision allowance. Plus includes 50 active projects, 50 custom templates, and private invoice tracking on accepted proposals. Workspace storage is limited to 200 project and template entries, including archived entries. Buying more links does not raise those limits. Project change totals use your latest 200 shared proposals. Accepted value is not collected revenue.

Billing status, invoice references, and due dates are manual records. ScopeOkay does not create or send invoices, charge clients, or verify project payments. Reusable templates omit client identity fields; review names in the wording before reuse.

Your information

Local drafts stay in your browser. Creating a client link or saving a template uploads the chosen content. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable; keep a PDF of important work. Creating a new draft does not erase the last saved draft until you save the new one.

Saving a project, template, or billing record stores that information privately in your Supabase-backed account. Archived entries are retained until account data is deleted. When you publish, we store the proposal, your account identifier, and a random sharing link in Supabase. A client email address is optional. If you add one, it is stored with that proposal and used only to send your client the link and a copy of their own response, with your account email as the reply address. It is never used for marketing, is not shared with anyone else, and is removed from saved templates. Responses store a typed name, acceptance or decline, any client note, and a timestamp. Declining requires a short reason so the sender can follow up. Anyone with the link can view and respond, so share it only with the intended recipient. Names are not independently verified.

Account authentication uses Supabase, with optional Google sign-in. Your profile settings store a display name, studio name, default currency, and whether you want an email when a client accepts or declines. ScopeOkay sends no newsletters, digests, or reminders; every message follows an action you or your client just took. Your Google profile photo may be displayed in your account menu. Payments, when enabled, use Dodo Payments; ScopeOkay does not store your card details. Hosting providers may retain operational logs. ScopeOkay does not add advertising trackers or use your proposals to train AI models. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the usual browser request information.

Expired links stop being publicly accessible; their records remain in your workspace. You can clear your local draft using your browser’s site-data settings. For account or stored-data deletion and payment help, contact hello@scopeokay.com.

Review every proposal before sharing. ScopeOkay records a response to a scope change; it does not provide legal advice, identity verification, a certified electronic signature, or a replacement for your original project agreement.
